Science is reticent too when it is a question of the great Unity.. of which we all somehow form part, to which we belong. The most popular name for it in our time is God – with a capital ‘G’.
The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will make you an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.
I would use the term God as the embodiment of the laws of physics.

Over time, I have come to realise that behind everything is an order that we glimpse only indirectly. This is religiousness. In this sense, I am a religious man.

In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognise.. there are yet people who say there is no God.
I have repeatedly been compelled to ponder on the relationship of these two great regions of thought [science and religion], for I have never been able to doubt the reality of that to which they point.
